Boulevardia Expands Taps & Tastes Offerings Beyond Beer

    Posted March 26, 2024

49 Missouri and Kansas breweries and distilleries to participate in food and drink sampling experience

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (March 26, 2024) — Organizers of Boulevardia announced today the lineup of participants for the festival’s annual “Taps & Tastes” food and drink sampling event. For the first time ever, the festival has expanded its offerings beyond beer to include samples from distilleries as well. In addition, the festival is homing in on what makes Boulevardia so special — the local community — and is exclusively partnering with Missouri- and Kansas-based businesses for this year’s event.

This fan-favorite special event will once again take place indoors at the Crown Center Exhibition Hall on Saturday, June 15, during the festival. Ticket holders for the exclusive experience will be able to sample beers, seltzers, ciders, and various liquors from 49 participants, as well as bites from several local restaurants.

“We’re excited to switch things up a bit at Taps & Tastes this year by focusing on the local breweries and distilleries that make this part of the country such an exciting place to be,” said Casey Osburn, Boulevardia president. “Being able to provide samples of products beyond beer allows a new audience to experience the event that it may not have appealed to previously. The list of businesses for Taps & Tastes is carefully curated by the team at Boulevard and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the exciting and diverse mix of businesses participating in this year’s event.”

Attendees can choose from two different ticket options. A general admission ticket is currently available for $85, allowing patrons three hours to sample drinks and bites from local restauranteurs (2-5 p.m.), while participants who opt for the early admission ticket get one extra hour of sampling (1-5 p.m.) for $125. Both ticket options include unlimited sampling, a commemorative tasting glass and admission to the festival on Saturday.
