    AiZen Root Remedy

We are a queer black female owned artisanal jewelry boutique and metaphysical apothecary that affirms the notion that there is value rooted in the currency of love. Our vision is to spread a love ethic, by enhancing the value of connectedness and empowerment everywhere we go and in everything we make. ‘Ai’ /EYE/ means love in Japanese. ‘Zen’ means enlightenment that can be attained through direct intuitive insight or an energetic state of meditative calm. We are a new age shop founded on the concept of holistic spiritual practice that honors our connections to the roots, herbs, and gems of the Earth as a tool for the journey of healing and self-actualization. We appreciate all sources of wisdom and respect each individualized path to Spirit. Our metaphysical tools support an array of practices, traditions, and faiths, for both the experienced goddess and the novice practitioner. Our objective is to create a place to share knowledge and gain a deeper connection to the energy of the universe by cultivating connections with the roots of the earth for their own personalized remedy. We do this by curating a space with lots of life, good energy, and positive vibes that supports and uplifts artist and entrepreneurs alike. Our business is in the midtown area of KC. We launched our first public appearance in February 2022 and have been buzzing around the city, state, and country at various pop-up shows since then. We’ve be constantly expanding our collection to include raw gemstones and healing crystals, sages, spiritual cards, and other metaphysical treasures, handmade organic African black soap, and FREE affirmations. Our mission in 2024, is to grow our business into our new Crystal Café space through networking, collaboration, hosting unique events, and uplifting minority businesses and artist in the KC area. This year our measurable goals are to get the coffee/tea part of our café up and running with free wi-fi, a multitude of diverse KC handmade products, and original art from local artist in our Crystal Café.
