Funkwerks co-founders/owners, Brad Lincoln and Gordon Schuck, opened the doors in 2010. It started as a Saison focused brewery. They felt that style hadn’t yet been properly explored in the United States. Although Funkwerks, through the years, has focused primarily on Saisons and sours, they’ve allowed for plenty of room for experimentation and now offer a range of Belgian and American styles, barrel-aged small batches, and other specialty brews.
