Guests staying at the hotels will need to inquire with the hotel regarding parking.

While designated handicap parking spaces are available on levels 2A and 3A of the Crown Center Shops parking garage, we would like to get you as close to the festival grounds as possible. We encourage guests requiring wheelchair access to park in the garage directly underneath the festival grounds, at Pershing and McGee. You can enter the garage from either from the McGee street entrance on the North, or the Grand street entrance to the South.

Our festival takes place on two different levels. You can use elevators in the parking garage outside Boulevardia or the ramp inside the grounds on Crown Center Square to move between levels. Look for special ADA parking spaces on the following levels to get you closer to the parts of the festival you want the most:

Gold Level = Street level, Main Stage, Second Stage, Makers Market, food vendors, bars, and more. We will have a designated area by the main stage for wheelchair stage viewng. Check back closer to the festival for a map.

Blue Level = Silent Disco, Cocktail Bar

Oversized Vans (higher than 6 feet 5 inches)

All underground garages have a max height of 6’5” so if you have an oversized van, you’re not going to fit. We have secured a limited number of slots in front of the American Restaurant entrance, where the valet parking is situated. Look for the specific handicap parking signs within the turnaround. These slots are available on a first come, first served basis; and only to oversized vans that have handicapped license plates or hanging state-issued handicap tags. If the lot is full, please utilize some of the above ground parking located further south on Grand.

If you have other special needs such as visual, auditory, etc please email us at [email protected] and we can address your specific questions.

There is seating in various locations throughout the festival, as well as areas designated for people with disabilities. Outside lawn chairs or camping chairs are NOT permitted.

As much as we love them, pets CANNOT enter Boulevardia. However, service animals ARE allowed on the festival grounds.

However, children under the age of 16 will not be admitted without adult supervision.

    CODE OF CONDUCT
Boulevardia, along with our host brewery, Boulevard Brewing Company, is committed to providing a harassment-free experience for all human beings. We take responsibility to ensure all events occurring within the Boulevardia weekend, including Taps & Tastes, will provide our guest brewers, staff, volunteers, and guests with a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone. Boulevardia is committed to cultivating a celebration of beer and music, and asks that all brewery participants, festival staff members, volunteers, sponsors, and attendees adhere to the following Code of Conduct throughout your experience during the Boulevardia weekend.

Everyone deserves to work and celebrate in an environment where we are all respected. Therefore, Boulevardia will provide an environment free of discrimination, offensive, or harassing behavior. All Boulevardia participants, defined as staff, brewers, volunteers, attendees, sponsors, and other representatives, must:

    • Treat all individuals and groups with respect, regardless of their diverse human characteristics.
    • Contribute to a positive environment free of hostile and offensive behaviors in any form, i.e., free of harassment. Harassment is not necessarily sexual in nature, although it may be.
    • Take proactive steps to prevent and stop such behavior. It is not sufficient for participants to merely refrain from engaging in this type of behavior. Refraining from this behavior while knowingly allowing others to engage in it constitutes implied encouragement or tolerance. Participants, therefore, should speak out against such behavior wherever and whenever they see it.
    • Speak out without fear of retaliation when the actions of others violate the rights of any individuals or groups. Participants that engage in retaliation against those that speak out against harassment are equally as guilty as those that engage in harassment.
    • Respect the opinions of others and address conflicts positively and constructively.
    • Treat all individuals and groups professionally and respect their personal property.

All event participants agree to abide by this Code of Conduct as a condition of participating in Boulevardia’s Taps & Tastes festival. Boulevardia organizers may take action in their discretion to address any individual(s) or group(s) it believes fail to meet the standards outlined in this Code of Conduct, including, without limitation, revoking the violating parties’ credentials without refund.

    RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION

In consuming alcoholic beverages, participants must adhere to the principles of responsible consumption.

Participants must protect the reputation of both Boulevardia and the brewing industry generally by taking steps to ensure no member, including themselves, will break any laws in the process of sharing or consuming of alcoholic beverages in association with Boulevardia’s Taps & Tastes.

Should any participants consume more than a reasonable amount of alcohol, and either are, or appear to be incapable of functioning, either legally or appropriately, Boulevardia Taps & Tastes participants accept their duty to act to keep those impaired members from breaking any laws and from harming themselves or others.

    REPORTING

Please contact [email protected] if you believe you’ve observed or experienced a violation of this Code of Conduct, and staff will work to assess the situation and respond as soon as possible. A phone number to reach Boulevardia Taps & Tastes staff directly will be provided ahead of the event.

Notifying staff does not constitute or replace a notification to local law enforcement. All suspected violations of the law should be reported to local law enforcement. For emergencies, immediately dial 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, the Kansas City Police Department is available at 816-234-5111.

Food and beverage will be sold throughout the event from a variety of specially selected Kansas City food trucks and carts. There will be something for everyone.

Check back in May for a full list of food options at Boulevadia.

TAPS & TASTES EXPERIENCE ticketholders will enjoy complimentary samples from a dozen of Kansas City’s top chefs and restaurants. Before and after that, additional food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the festival grounds.

No outside food or drinks are allowed. We’re sure your homebrewing talents are undeniable, but there will be plenty of food and beverage options at the event.

That's a funny thing to ask in a pop-up nation called "Boulevardia" but we agree that variety is indeed the spice of life. Boulevardia will feature Fling Craft Cocktails, Quirk Hard Seltzer as well as a variety of beer offerings at the bars throughout the festival.

The festival bars will also feature bottled water and Coke products.

We DO allow it. A stamp will be needed for re-entry which Boulevardians can get at the main gate exit.

Boulevardians aren’t scared off by a little rain, so be prepared. Rain or shine, we’re on. (For clarity, please review our ticket policy elsewhere in these FAQs.) It could be quite hot too, so drink plenty of water before, during and after the event.

Severe weather instructions/areas will be designated at the event in case of an emergency.

Boulevardia has two on-site hotels located just steps away from the festival gates. Choose from the Westin Crown Center Hotel and Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center. The Boulevardia hotel package comes with two GA Boulevardia tickets for each night booked and is available by clicking here.
