Infinity, a dynamic force in hard rock, traces its roots back to 1985 in Pittsburg, Kansas. The band was born from the shared musical passion of guitarist Jason Nokes, drummer Scott Grisolano, and bassist Cort Buffington. Initially named Paranoid, they transformed with the addition of Jeremy Ragonese as lead vocalist, gaining local acclaim for their diverse musical choices and dynamic live performances. While playing bars and clubs in college the quartet began writing original music, eventually leading them to record their debut album at a local studio. Realizing the need for a name that reflected their evolving sound, they chose Infinity, marking the start of a new legacy.
Infinity’s music draws from legendary influences like KISS, The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, and ZZ Top and modern acts such as Queens of the Stone Age and Foo Fighters. This blend of classic and contemporary hard rock has shaped their unique and captivating sound. Recently, the band reunited to release their new single “Lucky,” showcasing their enduring chemistry and musical prowess. Recently, Jason Nokes also released a self-produced album of hard-charging originals titled “Revlevel,” available at revlevel.com.
