Lorna Kay is honky tonk girl with big dreams. With roots in Arkansas and Indiana and raised in Kansas City – she is a city girl who grew up to love country music. It also helped that her grandparents retired and moved next door to Dollywood.
Her love of country past and present is evident when you hear her sing with her excellent band. Country is the cry of the heart and Lorna feels things deeply and lets others feel along with her. She travels with her all vinyl country party- Lorna Kay’s Country Club and recently threw her first inclusive country dance party & variety show, “Let’s Go Girls” at The Ship.
A founding member of The Grisly Hand, she has been singing and spinning country music for over 15 years. Her first two singles, “Havin’ A Ball” and “What Ever Happened” are streaming on all platforms now and new music is coming soon!
