Established in 1887 Jacob Rieger, J. Rieger & Co. grew to be the largest mail-order whiskey house in the country. The distillery was shut down by Prohibition, only to be reborn in 2014 when our co-founders, Ryan Maybee and Andy Rieger, the great-great-great-grandson of Jacob Rieger, resurrected the brand. Today we create award-winning spirits, innovative cocktails, and memorable experiences to our guests at our historic distillery in Kansas City’s Electric Park District.
