Parker Bata, better known as PmBata, is taking the world by storm with his dynamic flow, stunning fluidity, and rhythmic sound. At only 22 years old, PmBata is making waves with a sound that melds old school with new school, defying musical genres and expectations. The Kansas City, MO, native is a self-taught vocalist and producer. PmBata was encouraged to pursue music by his parents who surrounded him with music from an early age. PmBata’s father was his high school band director and his mother is also a band director, both of whom supported his training on the piano and trumpet as a child. The trumpet proved a passion for Parker, and he is still an avid trumpet player today.

His early musical passions led him to Hip Hop, which he discovered on YouTube at age ten. He delved into the genre, and at age 14, he started recording himself and producing his own tracks. He began creating his own remixes to popular songs, eventually garnering millions of views on YouTube. His single ‘I Hate Her Boyfriends Face’ amassed more than 50 thousand pre-saves and currently has over 5.5 million streams on Spotify. PmBata credits his sonic influences to Mac Miller, Chance the Rapper, and Logic which aided him in crafting his own sound, which he describes as a combination of catchy melodies with hard-hitting rhythms with pop and jazz influences.

PmBata recorded and produced many of his early singles and projects while in college at the University of Central Missouri. Parker recorded, engineered, and produced most of his music by himself in his college recording studio and in his dorm room. These projects include 808 Facades and The Museum which includes the single “Kissed You In The Museum”. He has since released notable singles like “Nobody Came To My Party”, Down For Real”, and fan favorite “Roadtrip”, which is now nearing 110 million streams on Spotify. Most recently, PmBata wrapped up a nationwide tour with fellow Elektra recording artist Games We Play and released his newest single “Villains”.

PmBata is ready to embark on the next phase of his musical journey. He has more music coming soon and he has no intention of slowing down.
